The Colored Editors' Convention. Mr. P. H. Murray, editor of the colored people's paper, the Advance, left last evening to attend the Colored Press Convention at Atlantic City, where he will read a paper on Labor and Industrial Education. Mr. Murray says that there will be represented in the Convention 150 colored people's papers, most of which are published in the South. There are fifteen negro organs published in this State. The most important question that will come before the Convention will be the colored labor question of the South, which has has been discussed in the GLOBE-DEMOCRAT of late. Most of the papers in the South, that is the colored papers, are published in the interests of the Knights of Labor there, and some action will be taken which will tend to the betterment of the negro's condition.
