The national colored press convention that convenes at Atlantic City, N.J., J., August 3, from the present indications will be one of the largest assemblies of distinguished colored men that will convene in America this summer, and it is to be hoped that every journalist who contributes in any way toward ward solving the great problem of our future will attend, not for the purpose of entering into any controversy on subjects of no importance to the press of our country, but that every moment of the time will be occupied in perfecting an organization that will meet with general approval.
