A Convention of the colored people of Indiana has been called to meet in Indianapolis on the 19th of August. Its principal business will be the consideration of the marriage-laws -laws of Indiana, , which make it a felony for any man of the African race to marry a white woman, and vice versa. The colored people propose to defray by subscription the expenses of all persons prosecuted under these laws. It is possible also that the Convention will have some political significance.
