THE Alabama negro State convention declares in its "Address to the People" that they deprecate the organization of parties distinguished simply by race-features. Our colored friends of this and adjacent States should make a note of this fact. A solid black vote may be very fine where it wins, but where it doesn't there remains solid political and often personal hostility of races, and one race is stronger than another.
