FESTIVAL Notice Last Friday night was the time for the regular monthly festival given by the ladies of the Presbyterian church. In order not to conflict with the Knights of Pythias' concert on the same evening the festival was postponed until to-night. Everybody is cordially invited to the chapel, corner Fifth and Scott streets. Admission, including bountiful repast, twenty-five cents. These entertainments are an established success and are always scenes of pleasure and rational enjoyment. PERSONAL JUDGE M. W. GIBBS, County Clerk Roland, Supervisor Wheeler, and Senator Dawson, of Pine Bluff, left last night for Washington, delegates to the national civil rights convention. MR. J. E. Patterson, of Helena, was, on Tuesday last, admitted to the practice at the bar by the supreme court of the state. Mr. P. was formerly of the treasury department at Washington.
