Philadelphia, Oct. 16. -- The Colored Convention met today in Franklin Hall, and 100 delegates were present from New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. The convention permanently organized by delegating Amos G. Beeman, of Connecticut. No other business was transacted except the appointment of a committee on Rules.
